Why Product Reviews?
When my husband and I found out we were expecting our first child at 27 (going on 28) years old we knew we had to familiarize ourselves with an industry we didn’t know much about. In return, we spent more time than we’d like to admit researching for baby products that we thought would be the best fit for our baby and our family only to be disappointed with the product and feeling like we wasted a ton of our time and money.
Mission Statement
I plan to keep my product review content concise and deliver you useful information a parent usually looks for when you’re looking into certain baby products.
I will pick a product or topic and lay out all the details I was looking for related to that item when researching, giving tips I learned along the way, and ending it there! That’s it. Give you cut and dry details that’ll help you decide which products do, or do not fit your family’s needs.
I’ll also share my personal experiences and tips with you here, on my blog, where everything will be in more detail. If you don’t feel like reading I have a YouTube channel where you could play one of my videos in the background, if that’s more of your style. You can also follow me on my Instagram account @mommys.trying and Facebook @MommysTryin. I’d love to hear from you and hear what type of things you usually look for in certain baby products.

I also understand just like every person is different, every child and family has different expectations and ways of raising their child(ren). I am simply posting what has worked for me and my family and I wanted to share that in between grey information other online reviews or companies never seem to talk about when they list everything in “black and white”. Not only will I be sharing my opinion (what did or didn’t work for me and my child) but I’ll also be providing subjective information you won’t find anywhere else.
For example, my first blog post is about a table. I challenge you to find anywhere online that shows you how well foods, crayons, markers, play dough etc. etc. clean off of a particular table. Go on, I’ll wait… 🙂 I am providing the information you will not find in a manufacturer’s or retailer’s product description (though I will briefly post basic dimensions, materials, age range intended for, etc. just so EVERYTHING you are looking for is in ONE place).
